Chuck Wofford will present slides of scenic Peru on Saturday, May 3rd at 7:00 PM. Slides from 1982 will focus on Macchu Pichu and Cuzco and include surfing shots of Chicama, the longest left pointbreak in the world. This program is sponsored by the Cocoa Beach Surf Museum.

Meditation Time with Sally Hart, Tuesdays, May 6, 13, 20, 27 at 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the Jane von Thron Room. Former Lawrence Welk star will show you how to use your family tree to discover the ‘negatives’ in your life that are holding you back from becoming the best and happiest self you can be. Air America: Saluting the World’s most Shot at Airline, Tuesday, May 6th at 7:00 PM, with Paul Vasconi, President -Air America Foundation. Dr. Vasconi will speak about and show a powerpoint presentation detailing the covert operation of Air America, the CIA owned airline that operated in and around Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. He will also discuss the Fairchild C-123K aircraft which was saved from the scrapper’s torch and is now being lovingly restored.

Scrapbooking with Dana Wilkens, Wednesday, May 7th at 1:00 PM in the Jane von Thron Room. Spring Showers Brings May Flowers. Join Dana for a class filled with flowers, flowers and flowers. Music on a Sunday Afternoon presents country blues with Sunnyland Steve on Sunday, May 11th at 2:00 PM. A great way to enjoy Mother's Day!

Individual Readings with Professional Medium John Rogers, Tuesday, May 13th at 6:30 PM. A professional medium and author will give individual readings, answer questions and hold discussion about mediumship and connections to the afterlife.

Wyatt Werneth, a Coast Guard Reservist and Chief of Brevard County Ocean Rescue, will discuss his Paddleboard Journey, on Monday, May 19th at 6:30 PM. The program was originally scheduled for Saturday, May 17th at 2:00 PM. This program is sponsored by the Cocoa Beach Surf Museum. Werneth set out from Miami Beach on a journey that would take nine days to complete during National Beach Safety/Boating Safety Week 2007. He paddled 345 miles on an 18 foot paddleboard and finished his journey in Jacksonville.

Music on a Sunday Afternoon presents bluegrass, swing and the smooth gypsy jazz sounds of Accoustic Alliance on Sunday, May 18th at 2:00 PM.

People in Print presents Peaceful Coexistence : Nature & Technology on the Space Coast with Dianne Marcum, Tuesday, May 20th at 7:00 PM. Brevard County is an extraordinary mix of sunshine, beaches, pristine natural resources and space-age technology. Take a walk through Brevard’s unique history and discover how nature and technology have survived and thrived in tandem. Dianne will sell, sign and discuss her book Cape Canaveral, Cocoa Beach and Florida’s Space Coast: A Complete Guide.

Gastroenterologist Dr.Salman Rashid, from Health First, will discuss GI tests and some common problems and misconceptions on Tuesday, May 20th at 7:00 PM in the Jane von Thron Room.

People in Print welcomes Bob Morris, Wednesday, May 21st at 2:00 PM. A terrific writer and pure Florida Boy, Bob has garnered kudos from Carl Hiaasen, Randy Wayne White and Dave Barry as sly, smart, cheerfully twisted and very funny. He is author of a series of mystery novels, each of which takes place on a different Caribbean island. His first novel, Bahamarama was a finalist for the Edgar Alan Poe Award for Best First Mystery Novel. Tropical punch and snacks will be served.

Easy Exercises with Marilyn for Seniors and Mature Adults, Fridays at 2:00 PM, May 30th through August 22nd. Cost is $4.00. Stretch, walk and lift hand weights with a great relaxation at the end. Taught by Marilyn Allawas.
